About Me

Honestly, it's NOT about me. In the Light-House, I am just an autodidact presenter with anthology of slides made of original quotations and information who knows how to perform and to talk. It's all about YOU and for YOU. But to answer your question...

Not About Me

I will quote the great Kabbalist Rabbi Moshe Khaim Luzzato (the "Ramkhal"),
who introduced his masterpiece 'Mesilat Yesharim' thus:
"I have written this work not to teach men what they do not know, but to remind them of what they already know and is very evident to them, for you will find in most of my words only things which most people know, and concerning which they entertain no doubts. But to the extent that they are well known and their truths revealed to all, so is forgetfulness in relation to them extremely prevalent...."

Albert Elay Shaltiel, the founder of S.O.S, has been living and studying Torah, Talmud and Zohar for about 40 years, while practicing and experiencing Kabbalistic meditation and mysticism under the guidance of many rabbis, masters, teachers, ancient books and yeshivas. He has also dedicated years of academic research to the topic.

old booksAs Albert insists on noting in his lectures, he is neither a Kabbalist-Talmudist nor a philosopher, guru or rabbi, and has not "discovered the light" or revealed "wisdom and its secrets". However, he elaborates on a large variety of original quotations and information from authentic Jewish-Hebrew sources and well known sages from all historical periods, presenting ancient knowledge in a creative, modern and accessible way.

Albert created the Light-House after many years of learning and research. He has been thinking and dreaming about the School Of Spirituality, and collecting knowledge, information, quotations, pictures, video clips and relevant music relating the subjects of the school's lectures from endless different sources for more than 15 years.

He is always looking for the secrets of Creation and asking for answers. Not that he has found them yet, as he puts it. But in trying many different ways of searching, he found the right way to ask his questions.

Albert believes there is no need to recreate the wheel. There have been many sages who improved upon real, useful and practical wheels before ancient LightHouse booksthem. All that we need to do is find the right sources to follow, and learn and implement their guidance.

In Albert's point of view, prophecy and miracles are one of the central topics throughout the Torah. If we believe that the Torah and its stories, laws and lessons are relevant to any generation, including our own, then we must also believe in the practical reality of prophecy and miracles.

Albert Shaltiel sees the world in the 21st century, with all of its positives and negatives, as a realization of prophecies shared by the prophets and sages of Israel over the last 3,500 years. One of the most amazing of these Divine promises is the renewal of prophecy, and direct connection with Creation and the Creator. Albert thinks that today is the most appropriate and conducive time to make the dream of renewed prophecy come true.

The inspiration for this idea came from Bible prophecies that seems more applicable now than at any other time in human history.

This is one of the reasons he embraced the creation of the School Of Spirituality (SOS). The rest of the work is up to you...

Jeremiah 31

"They will no longer teach each man his fellow, each man his brother saying. 'Know HaShem!' For all of them will know Me..." (Jeremiah 31)
